Dear Friends,
Even though the year started with Kenya going through the Covid 19 pandemic, we are happy to note that LEC Community Organization was able to develop RESILIENCE to implement most of her activities for the year 2022 that was characterized with so many problems caused by the pandemic at a global level. The resilience taught us to adapt to the new emerging challenges.
Due to the COVID 19 preventive measured advised by the government, we learnt to support each other from a distance due to the strict measures of social distancing, we did more with less resources and coped with constant uncertainty. We sincerely thank our partners who stood with us by supporting our emergency programme to respond to the harsh impacts of COVID 19 to LEC’s communities both in Mathare slums, Busia and Kakamega rural places.
We are excited to share with you this report that demonstrates our work throughout the year. Through your support we have touched the lives of 10,953 across Mathare and Korogosho slums, Busia and Kakamega rural areas. Together with you and other partners around the globe, we will continue to empowering our communities.
Thank you very much and be blessed.
